Schedule Children Classes in DC

* Our small kids classes, Moineaux (2.5 to 4.5 years) and Poussins (5 to 7 years) are playful immersion classes with activities similar to what children would do in a French maternelle (preschool). Learn words and sentences, use them in songs, dances, games, and stories. For French and non-French speakers (beginner to advanced welcome!).

- Mixed Poussins SUMMER workshop (3 to 7 y) in Chevy Chase: Saturdays 10:05-11am - July 13th to Aug 10th - $150.

* Grand Classes for Kids 7.5 to 13 years old - An interactive and playful class for beginners (A1) to strong elementary (A2+)
Level 1: A dynamic and interactive approach for complete beginners to strong beginners (0 to 2 years of French)
Level 2: for elementary children (2.5 to 4 years of French)

- Grand 1 SPRING class in DC - Level 1: Sat 10:05-11:30am - April 13th to June 15th - $375.

- Conversation SUMMER Review class in Chevy Chase (kids 7.5 to 12) - level 1: Saturdays 10:05 to 11:30am - July 13th to Aug 10th - $225.
(For beginners to 1.5 years of French)

Online Reading Summer Workshops

Those workshops aim to build up more complex vocabulary, to read faster, to reinforce spelling and text analysis skills.

* Reading Level 1 (bilingual Kids from 8 to 12) ONLINE - Sat 10:05-11:30am - July 13th to Aug 10th - $200

** Reading Level 2 (bilingual Kids from 12 to 15) ONLINE - Sat 11:30am-1pm - July 13th to Aug 10th - $200

Regular Saturday Classes

Our Petit Francais classes are for French speaking children: bilingual or very advanced.
We focus not only on a typical curriculum for French speakers, but also on vocabulary acquisition and reading, as well as reinforcing conversation. Of course we tackle spelling and grammar, but in a way that is adapted to the needs of bilingual children, who often default to English. We reinforce areas of difficulties (homonyms, silent letters, e versus i, the accentuation etc...)
